Safeguarding

At SiMY, the safety and well-being of the young people we work with is our highest priority. We take safeguarding very seriously and are committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where young people feel respected, listened to and protected.

All members of our team receive safeguarding training and follow clear procedures to ensure young people are safe during our activities. We also work closely with families, partners and relevant agencies whenever concerns arise.

SiMY has two Designated Safeguarding Officers who are responsible for overseeing safeguarding practice within the organisation:

Molly Buckingham, CEO & Emma Gall, Creative Programme Lead

If you have any safeguarding concerns relating to SiMY or a young person involved in our activities, you can contact one of our Designated Safeguarding Officers directly.

For full details of our safeguarding procedures, please see our policy below.
